Bradford Cathedral
 (Grade I)

As appointed Cathedral Architect, Ulrike Knox is responsible for the fabric of this outstanding building. This includes regular inspections of the building, the design and specification of repairs and alterations and is consulted upon all activities that impact on the Cathedral and its environs. Projects have included lead roof repairs, alterations in the chancel, the re-ordering of the east end, the formation of new conference facilities, the commission of a conservation management plan, new signage, new decorative furniture and window guards. A number of these projects benefitted from 80% grants from the English Heritage.

Bradford Cathedral is the only British Cathedral to have solar panels on the roof, thanks to the determination of the congregation and the skill of Knox-McConnell Architects in negotiating the permissions process.
